Very true. Few people want to crash systems when Steven and Joe are in
their studio. they never recover from problems like that.

But I think Linux itself is very stable, and I think Pro Tools is
fairly stable. What's hard for most people to set up is Alsa. Digi
could do that for their hardware only and they'd have something that
would likely be pretty good from the start.
