Only the development version (v19) of portaudio supports jack.
You have to configure audacity with: --with-portaudio=v19
--without-portmixer
Think it's a kind of bug of either audacity/portaudio, we will have to
wait for it to mature.

Now I tried to use alsas jack plugin, (and configured asound.conf
accordingly)
Without success:

## aplay -Djackplug kent.wav
ALSA lib pcm.c:2052:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_jack.so
aplay: main:533: audio open error: No such file or directory

Has the jackplugin been removed from alsa 1.0.9b ?
