If the version of PAM is older than 0.80, then chances are VERY GOOD
that it does NOT include rlimit support.

However, some distros DO include an older version, patched and ready to
go. Ubuntu Dapper is one that comes to mind. How could you tell? Well,
read the changelog, I guess.
