being windows me i doubt it is ntfs. i don't think it could even use that,
could it?

i don't know of any live cds with audacity off the top of my head, but i
know things like the ubuntu customization kit - http://uck.sourceforge.net/,
or reconstructor - http://reconstructor.aperantis.com/ (also ubuntu) allow
you to install packages (and remove packages if they aren't needed) then
remaster a livecd from that. i did this once when i went somewhere without a
net connection to chuck a few games and things on there :)
