This is just the old Hafler circuit. It doesn't
really compare with Ambisonics.

Gerzon's contribution to the Hafler circuit was
the addition of a blend or rear spread control
between the rear speakers and ground. This
is described in his later article "A year of
surround-sound", also available at The Gerzon
