Hi there!
I just pushed a script to my github repo which allows converting Battery v1
(.kit) files into sfz:
https://github.com/danielappelt/battery_to_sfz
I tested it against a copy of Battery Studio Drums and some old, free kits
that I found on KvR. sforzando (run through festige) could load and play
the resulting files.
