Another issue is how the host/server finds out the capabilities of the
GUIs, I suggest something along the lines of:
[swh_AT_inanna harmonic_gui]$ src/harmonic_gui --metadata
LCP.Version: 0.0.1
LCP.Toolkit: GTK
DC.Coverage: 1220
DC.Title: Harmonics generator GTK interface
DC.Identifier: http://plugin.org.uk/guis/harmonics_generator_gtk
DC.Creator: Steve Harris
DC.Creator.email: steve_AT_plugin.org.uk
Where DC.Coverage: is a comma seperated list of the ladspa_id's that this
gui understands (or a range, or * ?)
DC.Identifier is a URI to see which are duplicates, for eg. It may not be
useful though.
The other metadata fields should be obvious.
