The artistic expression thing comes from external MIDI synths or MIDI
controlled software synths. Everything done in computer without some kind of
physical link will sound somewhat "static". And I don't count mouse or
keyboard as "physical link".
That's why I usually don't do much cleanup of my MIDI tracks.
I'm still saving money for the Access' Virus... :)

DJ Dimitri was playing here (in Finland, along with VJ REL) last month and I
really liked his way of matching songs.

Software must be easy enough to use to not lose artistic impression when
playing with it. I like to use more time playing music and less time
learning how to use programs related to it.
