Both of these "systems" are pretty major hacks. I think it would be a
huge mistake to base any kind of shared "standard" on them.

Not without some pretty deep and ugly hacks.

But mustajuuri has control over the toolkit for the gui's, right ? so
it has a level of control that we don't have in the general case.
