as to muse-bashing: it's true werner has been a little slow to respond
to compilation problems lately, which seems to have put off some people
on the muse list.
but he has a job, and probably also a life :)
i heard his company got screwed over by kyocera, which might explain why
werner has other things in his queue right now...
(here's a heise online article about it:
http://heise.de/newsticker/result.xhtml?url=/newsticker/data/tig-08.04.02-000/default.shtml&words=Seh
and this is babelfish's idea of it:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/urltrurl?url=http%3A%2F%2Fheise.de%2Fnewsticker%2Fresult.xhtml%3Furl%3D%2Fnewsticker%2Fdata%2Ftig-08.04.02-000%2Fdefault.shtml%26words%3DSeh&doit=done&lp=de_en&tt=url&urltext=
)

if you have problems with muse, please join the muse list, don't discuss
it here on lau. compiling muse is tricky, and there is the same problem
that ardour used to have: the dreaded ABI incompatibility between c++
compilers, which has been very frustrating to some people...
anyway, muse is a very promising project. let's make it take off !

just my...
