Thanks to your replies, I've got a better idea of
what to do. I have read the man file for cdrecord
and the writting-CD HOWTO. I've got one last problem.
    dev=?,?,?
These doc files are fine for SCSI burners but I have
an ATAPI, so I'm not at all sure what to put down for
    dev=
In the BIOS my burner is the secondary primary.
In windows it has the letter F
In Red Hat 7.2 /proc I thinks its ide1/hdc
   Can anyone tell me what I should put down
for cdrecord dev=?,?,?
    My Red Hat 7.2 has no SCSI devices.
